Alfredo Liétor was born in Jaén (Spain) in 1975 and currently lives and works in Barcelona.

As a photographer, Liétor was the recipient of the 2nd prize in the 1995 Fotomad contest, at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, and more recently he was the winner of the 2nd prize in the 2010 pixMO photography contest, at LABoral Art Center in Gijón. In November 2011 he became finalist of the participatory project  “Brangulí was here. What about you?” at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB).

Liétor´s photography work has been shown in several group exhibitions and projects mainly in Spain, among the last ones we can mention: “La España Fantasma”, photography book published in Madrid (2010); “Eyephoneography #1”, Madrid (2010); “15M indignados” curated by TerradeNingu, Barcelona (2011); “El muro de la felicidad,” organized by Wallpeople, Barcelona (2011); “Food”, MMS Gallery, Philadelphia USA (2011); “Barcelona: 2000-2011″, CCCB, Barcelona (2011).

In the music field he works as an amateur composer. In 2004 Liétor remix “Pink Battle Mash Up” is selected by the icelandic singer Björk as part of a charity compilation entitled  “Army of Me: Remixes and Covers”. In 2011, he co-founds “Grimaldis” a pop band based in Barcelona
